LaShaunda L. Smith, MS, LPC-S, NCC, CCMHC, BC-TMH, is a highly respected licensed professional counselor with extensive experience in mental health. As a Ph.D. candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision at Walden University, she specializes in marriage, couple, and family counseling.
Through her private practice, LL Smith Counseling Services, LaShaunda provides compassionate, evidence-based care through psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and family systems therapies, helping clients navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges.
Her dedication extends to mentoring, supervising, and educating future counselors as a co-teacher of clinical counseling courses. Recognized with accolades like “Outstanding New Counselor of the Year,” LaShaunda continues to champion client-centered care and advocate for mental health awareness.
Her leadership also shines as vice president of Walden’s Golden Key chapter.
